Advocate for students that have been identified needing additional support for success. Work with individual students that have been identified as falling behind in grades and attendance. Meet with students regularly to monitor progress and assess / identify their needs. Communicate with Parents/Guardians their student’s academic and behavior success considerations. Work with students toward positive behaviors and overall success. Research and implement model programs for optimizing student successes. Display, model, and provide a professional and supportive and positive climate that encourages student responsibility, using positive motivation, clear routines, and effective management techniques. Provide a “360 degree” solution with Student, Parents/ Guardians, Principal, Academic Counselor, and Teachers.

Working with Parents, School Faculty and Counselors, and the Community, bring all together through training and active participation for the advancement of the student. Plan and facilitate Parent Forums. Partner the CGUHSD with the Business Community. Provide a voice for the Parents and Community on the site Leadership Teams. Promote the well-being of the CGUHSD Students and help Parents and Community pursue “Active Participation” in the life of the students.

Improve the quality and quantity of parent / teacher communication through promoting partnerships through education, program / events, and training of teachers and parents. Improve student learning through effective parent involvement while creating a family-friendly school. Increase meaningful parent involvement in the school through parenting partnership events and multi-week training programs. Connect the Casa Grande Union High School District and families with community resources. Promote and improve information flow between parents, schools, faculty, and the community. Working with the office personnel, streamline and facilitate the monthly enrollment process and procedures. Enter and update all applicable student and parent information from demographics through class grades, guidance and incident logs, and student drop data. Work with SAIS data coordinator to provide accurate and timely SAIS data for regulatory reporting. Created best practices procedures for data entry for office personnel. Contributing Team member on Desert Winds school redesign for 2012/2013 school year. Contributed Team member on charter school potential Team.
